TO SEND AND RECEIVE EMAIL OVER SSL IN OUTLOOK 2010 (POP)

Start Microsoft Outlook 2010, select File » Account Settings » Account Settings

Highlight the account you want to change the outgoing port for and click Change

Click on More Settings

Select the Advanced Tab and make the following amendments under Server Port Numbers and click OK
Incoming Server Port (POP) | 995 |
This Server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) | ![]() |
Outgoing Server Port (SMTP) | 465 |
Use the following type of encrypted connection | SSL |

Click Next

Outlook 2010 will test your settings, when complete click Close
