TO SEND AND RECEIVE EMAIL OVER SSL IN OUTLOOK 2016 (IMAP)

Start Microsoft Outlook 2016, select File

Select Accounts and Social Network Settings » Account Settings

Highlight the account you want to change the outgoing port for and click Change
your.name@domain.com
your.name@domain.com\inbox

Click on More Settings

Select the Advanced Tab and make the following amendments under Server Port Numbers and click OK

| Use the following type of encrypted connection | SSL |
| Outgoing Server Port (SMTP) | 465 |
| Use the following type of encrypted connection | SSL |

Click Next

Outlook 2016 will test your settings, when complete click Close

Click Finish
