DOMAIN GUARDIAN
Introduction
Domain Guardian helps protect your domain from unauthorised changes, misuse, and accidental loss. It adds an extra layer of security around your domain, giving you greater control and peace of mind that your online identity is protected. Customers benefit from enhanced safeguards designed to reduce the risk of domain hijacking, configuration errors, and service disruption. Domain Guardian is easy to manage through the Easyspace control panel and information on this can be found below.
Q Domain Guardian Status
From the Domain Name Management page, customers can see the current status of Domain Guardian and purchase it for any domains where it is not already enabled.
Q Manage a Domain Protected with Domain Guardian
Click Edit next to the domain you want to manage.
To manage your domain, you must first enter your Domain Guardian PIN. You can choose to receive the PIN by email or SMS.
Enter the received PIN number, then click Go.
You can now manage all aspects of your domain name from the control panel.
Q Domain Guardian Support Phone Number
Domain Guardian customers have access to a dedicated support phone number, which is displayed on the Domain Guardian Status page within Domain Management: 0141 611 3799.
Q Domain Guardian Status Update
Domain Guardian is enabled by default. After verifying your PIN once per login session, no further verification is required. You can disable this at any time if you prefer to manage the domain without PIN verification.
To disable Domain Guardian, enter your Domain Guardian PIN when prompted. The PIN can be sent by email or SMS.
Enter the received PIN number, then click Go.
Once disabled, the Domain Guardian status will show as Disabled, and you will be able to manage the domain without PIN verification.
IMPORTANT
You can follow the same process to enable Domain Guardian. The Domain Guardian status is shared across all users on the account.
Q Domain Guardian Do it For Me DNS
In the Manage DNS section, Domain Guardian customers can paste the DNS records supplied by their provider, and our team will complete the update on their behalf. Select "Do it for me DNS" to proceed.
Paste the request provided by your supplier, then click Submit.
Q Domain Guardian Domain Registration Certificate
In the WHOIS Contact Details section, select Download Domain Registration Certificate to download your domain registration certificate.

Q Domain Guardian Bulk Controls / Domain Transfers
If your domain is protected by Domain Guardian, you cannot use bulk controls or transfer the domain away without entering the Domain Guardian PIN or disabling Domain Guardian.
Q Ultimate Domain Guardian
Customers with Ultimate Domain Guardian receive all the benefits of Domain Guardian. In addition, all services are locked at the domain registry.
To make changes to name servers, WHOIS details, locking services, or to transfer the domain away, you must request that the domain is unlocked at the registry by contacting our support team.
Please note: Registry unlock requests may take up to 72 hours to complete.
Once the domain is unlocked at the registry, our team will contact you to complete the required changes. Afterward, let us know and we will re‑lock the domain.
